BC exists to make sure every member of our class feels seen, supported, and connected, not just in crisis, but throughout life.

How Can I Help

The Bravo Charlie Initiative only works because classmates step up for classmates. There’s no official structure, no committees, no mandatory anything. It grows through simple acts of connection.

Here’s how you can help:

1. Do a Buddy Check

Reach out to one classmate - just one.
Call, text, DM, or email. It doesn’t have to be long or deep.

A simple:
“Hey, just checking in. How’s life?”
is sometimes all someone needs.

If every one of us checks on a few people, we keep the circle tight.

2. Share What You Hear (When It’s Helpful and Appropriate)

If a classmate is struggling, or if someone just needs a nudge, an introduction, or a resource, let us know. We’re here to connect people quietly and respectfully.

No gossip. No judgment. Just support.

To keep this effort going, we need a better system, one central place where the class can receive updates, submit stories, coordinate buddy checks, access support resources, and stay connected year-round.

If each classmate contributes $35, we can raise $15,000 to build the new Bravo Charlie website and other operational systems. We’d have everything we need to move forward.

3. Help Keep the Network Alive

  • Encourage others to do their own buddy checks

  • Share Class events or news

  • Contribute a story, photo, or update

  • Suggest ideas for content or features

  • Point classmates toward this website

  • Every action, no matter how small, matters.

4. Lift Up the Class Community

  • Attend a class event

  • Join a virtual check-in

  • Offer to host a meetup

  • Nominate someone for a spotlight or interview

  • Reach out to someone who’s been quiet for a while

Community doesn’t happen by accident. People build it.

5. Let Us Support You, Too

This is not just about giving help, it’s also about receiving it.

If you need someone to talk to, want advice, or just want to reconnect quietly, reach out.
There’s always someone who will pick up the phone.

Together, we can make sure no one in the Class of ’99 ever feels forgotten or left behind.
